Gavin is an award-winning political strategist with nearly a decade of experience driving success in some of the nation’s most competitive Republican campaigns. He began his career in 2015 helping deliver Florida for President Trump, and played key roles in Ron DeSantis’ narrow 2018 gubernatorial win, Glenn Youngkin’s historic upset in Virginia’s 2021 governor’s race, and in 2024, Jeff Hurd's win in Colorado's 3rd Congressional District.

He has held senior leadership roles on major races, including serving as Political Director for now Senator Dave McCormick's Pennsylvania’s 2022 U.S. Senate race and as National Deputy Political Director for Vivek Ramaswamy’s 2024 presidential campaign, helping shape the campaign’s America First message and national ground game.

Beyond the campaign trail, Gavin has partnered with leading conservative organizations, such as Gun Owners of America, Hunter Nation, American Impact Foundation, and The Family Leader, to mobilize grassroots coalitions and advance Republican priorities.

Now, as President of 5 Point Strategy Group, Gavin leads a growing national team that delivers strategic, data-driven wins for GOP candidates, PACs, and advocacy groups in more than 20 states.
